De Vries started with an idea for an annual leadership and mentorship programme for women designed to empower, mentor and create brand and social awareness and the journey of the SAUBA participants was filmed as a documentary (docu-series) and broadcast on DStv.
SAUBA is a national programme that interlinks social and corporate sectors while creating opportunities to uplift communities and benefit local charities. It is all about actioning the spirit of Ubuntu and contributing to community and nation building.
