After working in consulting at Deloitte for a few years, Andrew Johnston turned to entrepreneurship, co-founding a number of start-ups, namely MasterStart.com, SaveMoney.co.za, PropertyFox.co.za, SayHi.co.za, and Debtline.co.za.

Consolidating these companies into Balfour Venture Capital (an investment vehicle for startup technology businesses) with his partners, the group now employs over 200 people globally with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg and London.
