The Big MaK is a custom Lego McDonald’s food and drink themed BattleMech. This build was donated to Creations for Charity, a fundraising event where LEGO builders worldwide donate their creations to sell and raise money to purchase LEGO sets for underprivileged children.
The Netherlands Burger King team came up with this eclectic display of brown, yellow, green and white-tinged eye make-up. If you can’t tell, it depicts a sesame seed bun encasing pickles, onions and a charcoal beef patty.
For some bizarre reason the French refer to Darth Vader as Dark Vador – something to do with the translation. This campaign came out ahead of the re-release of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace 3D and come in 3 versions: The Dark Burger, The Jedi Burger and the Dark Vador Burger, which has an all-black bun.
In another movie-themed Burger King campaign, the fast food group covered up Bella with a burger in this advert, released to coincide with the latest instalment of the Twilight saga, New Moon.
Closer to home, burger chain Wimpy came up with an innovative way to promote its Braille menus, by creating messages with sesame seeds on their burger buns.
This disconcerting advert was made for Pow Wow Bar & Restaurant, who clearly sell the “biggest burgers in town”.
