Even though the Lucien Pellat-Finet retail store is situated on a street packed with high end street wear, it does anything but blend in. This lively store’s main ingredient is simple but creates an amazing effect.
The entire interior of this fashion outlet is covered with a honeycomb structure made entirely out of plywood and aluminium connectors. This organic design is inspired by patterns found in plants and the wood gives shoppers a warm and comforting feeling while they enjoy their boutique shopping experience.
Along with his original idea, the designer Kengo Kuma, was also economical. Instead of splashing out on additional shelving, the store’s structure creates perfect shelving space for their cashmere clothing range.
The owners of this eye-catching store didn’t stop there. Their 3 storey store grows upwards and out all the way to a library on the top floor, which is filled with books containing stories from all over the world.
Follow the roots down to the basement of the store where you will find a relaxing champagne bar filled with lively chatter in the evenings to complete your fashion outing.
