You pay your salary into your transactional banking account, and offset the debit balance on your home-loan account against the credit balance on your transactional account. That means you pay a little less interest every month just by keeping your monthly earnings in your home loan for longer and you cut down your bond term. Free transfers between your home loan and transaction accounts, via phone or Internet, give you control over your money. You can draw funds from your home loan as you need to, pay accounts via the Web, and use your Integer card to shop or draw cash. Credit card purchases can be made at the cheaper home loan rate. Its target market is middle income consumers with a home loan ranging from R300 000 to R2, 5 million. Integer processes mortgage applications in less than 48 hours from application to credit approval. Costs include a once-off R2 950 initiation fee and a monthly administration fee of R35.
