The Nedbank App Suite launched last month offers new functionality for business and corporate clients.
The suite provides secure and convenient mobile access to electronic banking and online share trading. Clients can access a range of transactional capabilities via their cellphones, giving them greater flexibility to operate their business on the run.
A wide range of functionality
The functionality includes:
- viewing of balances
- statement information
- ability to authorise transactions (payments, transfers and adding of beneficiaries)
- certain administrative functions (such as resetting and changing passwords).
Customers don’t need to update the app
“Business clients can access this by simply downloading the Nedbank App Suite, if not already installed, and then activating the NetBank Business NedApp,” says Ian Carter, Nedbank general manager of Electronic Banking, Payments and Africa.
This is in line with Nedbank’s strategic intent to allow regular releases of additional functionality and services into the Nedbank App Suite, without users having to update the app manually on their devices.

We strive to evolve our offering in line with changing client needs, and we believe this release is an important step in our journey,” Carter concludes.
New versions of the app coming soon
The Nedbank App Suite, including the NetBank Business NedApp, is currently available to Android phone users only. However, versions for Android tablets, iPhones and iPads, Blackberry and selected feature phones are to be released over the coming months.
