Goldman Sachs, in collaboration with the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), has opened the call for applications to the 10 000 Women Certificate Programme for Women Entrepreneurs.
About the programme
Goldman Sach’s 10 000 Women is a five-year investment programme to provide under-served women around the world with business management education. In South Africa, the programme is managed and delivered by GIBS to provide students with targeted support, mentorship and networking opportunities in a practical and interactive way that translates into growing a small business.
By the end of the year-long programme, participants will be able to build and refine business models and strategies, form and implement growth strategies, meet the challenges of competition, as well as better understanding financial, people, marketing, operations and supply chain management.
To date, three groups totaling 7 000 women from 42 countries have graduated from the programme and have continued to receive support in the form of capacity building workshops and mentorship to assist in applying what they’ve learnt in class to their businesses.
