Entries for the HUB Johannesburg 2012/13 Fellowship Programme close on 30 October 2012, so if you are a social entrepreneur, make sure your entry is in.
The year-long incubation programme is offered to South African entrepreneurs and is a platform that provides several resources to entrepreneurs who have business-based solutions to environmental problems in order to help them make their businesses sustainable.
These resources include initial seed-capital and a monthly stipend to the value of R100 000, coaching, HUB membership and access to the HUB network.
“The HUB is a co-working space for values-driven entrepreneurs and professionals creating social and environmental impact,” explains HUB Johannesburg founder, Lesley Williams.
“The HUB enables people to take ownership of South Africa’s most pressing social and ecological issues, and supports them in tackling these in a creative and entrepreneurial way.”
