“The EQ certification course will benefit managers, leaders, trainers, counsellors, organisational development coaches, psychologists and educators,” Smith said. “Individuals also frequently attend for their own personal growth, seeking to incorporate EQ into their work and life.”
The workshop in a nutshell
The five-day, hands-on workshop builds capacity for transformation with emotional intelligence to enable clients and employees to increase personal, team and organisational performance, thus maximising the potential of human capital and developing core competence.
It explains the benefits of EQ in driving performance, leadership, learning and effective decision-making and how to put the science into action. This is achieved by reviewing the latest research on the brain, emotions and performance and by exploring a range of topics such as emotional literacy, neuroscience, changing behavioural patterns, consequential thinking, optimism and transforming emotions.
The content is based on 35 years of practical teaching experience. After completing certification, delegates are licensed to use the tools, modules and models from the course.
