No matter how enthusiastic an entrepreneur, starting or growing a business can be difficult for those with limited business experience facing the hurdles that go along with making a small business successful.
Standard Bank, partnered with SABC3, has formed a new television series, ‘The Business Coach’, aimed at bringing expert advice to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Airing every Sunday at 16h00 from 1 July, the 13 week series will offer advice, practical assistance and support for real business people’s problems from experienced business coach Greg Mason and a host of Standard Bank specialist advisers.
The series will showcase entrepreneurs from totally different markets and how they respond to issues viewers can identify with, such as branding a business, business administration, as well as business skills like cash flow management, sales, marketing and people management.
Offering a hands-on approach, Greg and his team of specialists assist small businesses identify the sticking points within their businesses and help them over potential hurdles. He will also monitor the progress of the businesspeople he advises to show how his suggestions have helped drive the business towards better productivity and growth.
In addition to the show, Standard Bank has created a dedicated website where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can participate in a free 13 module online training programme developed by The Business Coach, and have access to other business tips.
