Today’s youth will be tomorrow’s business and social leaders, which is why events like the Generation Earth Summit on Climate Change are so important, from a future-generation as well as business-today perspective.
Held in Thaba Ya Batswana, Johannesburg, this year’s summit will bring schools, government, social and business leaders to discuss pertinent green issues. Jeremy Mansfield, the City of Johannesburg’s Executive Mayor, Mpho Parks Tau, and Edna Molewa, the Minister of Environmental Affairs, are just some of the many speakers at the event.
A green networking platform
The event aims to give youth and more mature participants of the summit a platform to exchange green ideas, develop green thinkers, broaden minds and create a generation of green, sustainable decision makers and consumers. It also aims to open a door to green business and an understanding of the global green economy.
NGOs have been invited to exhibit and display working initiatives, and all participants will work to consolidate and expand the Generation Earth Council Network.
