An important factor that determines your likelihood to succeed is the influence and association you have with other people.
If you wish to be extraordinary and live your life at your highest potential you need to surround yourself with people who will ‘accompany’ and support you in becoming extraordinary. If you want to move to the next level, then hang-out with people who are already better than you at the areas in your life that you want to master.
Create your own destiny
Surrounding yourself with people better than you naturally leads to you stretching yourself and them stretching you too.
Everyone’s heard the old maxim: Birds of a feather flock together. And it’s also true when it comes to creating your dream life. Be surrounded by other people who have already done what you want to do and you’ll find your path to success way easier.
There have been studies done that show that you are the average of the five or six people you spend the most time with. Do a quick mental assessment: who are the five or six people in your life that you spend the majority of your time with?
Would that include your spouse? Your kids? Your neighbours? Relatives? Your co-workers?
Now take the time to make that list, to narrow it down and figure out who those five or six people are that you spend the most time with.
Now: Do you want to know your future? Average out the activities, behaviours, attitudes, education, passion, ambition, social life, health, wealth and other important habits of these people and you will uncover what your future holds.
This can either be an encouraging or frightening realization!
Your wealth scale
In fact if you take the six people you spend the most time with and add up each of their wealth and take an average, this will normally be your wealth.
And if you have people in your life who are negative, toxic or energy vampires, it is time to gently let them go and bless and release them.
It is time to find extraordinary people who can support you in your quest for living your dreams and inspire you to reach your highest potential
