2. Gesture Control
Along with new ways of interfacing with the world around us, comes Gesture Control technology, which allows users to interact with technology and brands to create a seamless connect between the products and target market.
With many unexplored uses – Gesture Control Technology has been used to encourage user-friendly Photoshop editing by using The Gest (derived from the word ‘gesture’), which can adjust brightness levels and other editing options using a simple flick or twist of your wrist.
The new BMW 7 Series
Automotive brands are also looking into developing their technology through the use of Gesture technology to encourage safer driving.
The 2016 BMW 7 Series edition will be the first production car with gesture control. The vehicle’s technology will involve a 3D sensor that detects a series of pre-selected hand movements, which relates to a certain function that has been programmed into the vehicle such as smartphone interfaces and volume control.
