A start-up has asked me to mentor it. I have no idea what goes into becoming a mentor, please can you advise me?
Being a mentor is a wonderful opportunity to share the skills, wisdom and knowledge you have gained through your experiences.
You can help your start-up achieve its goals and dreams by identifying the necessary tasks along the way. You also need to encourage your mentee to acquire the skills and knowledge they need on their journey.
You don’t have to be an expert in every aspect of business, but you do need to be able to guide them in the right direction when need be.
