Coca-Cola has lost its place as the world’s best brand, unseated by iPhone and iPad maker Apple.
This is the first time in 13 years that the soft drink has not occupied the top spot on the best global brand report, created in 2000 by Interbrand.
In fact, Coca-Cola dropped two places in 2013, also losing to Google, which came in second place.
According to Interbrand, the Apple brand is worth $98.31bn, a 28% rise from the previous year with the Google brand weighing in at $93.29bn. Coca-Cola is worth $79.2bn.
Blackberry has disappeared from the list completely and Nokia, once the mobile phone leader, tumbled from 13th place to 57th on the list. Facebook climbed to the 52nd spot from 69.
