Yashmita Bhana, Managing Director of Nihka Consulting, was recently named as the 2016 Regional Business Achiever at the Business Woman’s Association’s (BWA) National Awards Gala.
Bhana was selected from two other nominees in this year’s entrepreneur category, which recognises businesswomen who have made significant contributions to their industries and have demonstrated a strong commitment to their community.
With over 15 years’ experience in project and programme management, Bhana has worked closely with clients across the information technology, civil, building, energy and government sectors. She graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with an M.Sc in Engineering and went on to earn an MBA at the GIBS.
“It is an honour not only to win, but just to be nominated in a category with such incredible business women,” said Bhana.
