Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Cape Town chapter has launched EO Bootcamp, a collective commons free access online learning resource for aspiring entrepreneurs. Made possible by the eLearning team of GetSmarter and the generous assistance of the Western Cape Local Government, EO has collaborated with its members to offer aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to gather skills of both an academic and a practical nature.
Getting the basics right
Based on UCT’s small business management course, the nine module learning experience will take learners though the fundamentals of launching and managing a business. To complement these theory-based tutorials, real life practical experiences will be shared by EO members in the form of online video interviews.
By sharing their unique insights and personal experiences, EO Cape Town has added a wealth of helpful information and key learnings to the well-grounded and extensive content of this online learning experience.
Enrol in the course
Anyone who is interested in enrolling for the course can do so at www.eobootcamp.co.za. The nine modules can be completed any time within a one year period, and learners who successfully complete their course will be awarded a certificate from the Entrepreneurs Organization to acknowledge their participation.
Personal mentors
The top ten candidates of the course will be offered mentorships with EO members, who include representatives of esteemed Cape Town brands such as Col Cocchio, Digicape, V&A Waterfront Organic Market, Colourworks and Adventure Bootcamp, amongst others.

About EO Cape Town
The Entrepreneurs’ Organisation is a membership-based global organisation of over 8000 successful business owners. The Cape Town chapter of the organisation was launched in 2010, during the peak of the global economic crisis.
Since then, it has grown in leaps and bounds to establish itself as the second fastest growing chapter in the world, with 57 registered members. Given the immense success that the organisation has enjoyed, it was only a matter of time before the imperative to give back became a foremost priority. It is with this undertaking in mind that EO Cape Town has launched EO’s Entrepreneur Bootcamp.
