GrowthHub, a new initiative to support entrepreneurs, is hosting its first event at the OneChadwick co-work space in Sandton, Joburg in July with Rich Mulholland serving up a talk on How to Pitch for Funding.
“At GrowthHub, we are looking to create a community to help the South African start-up scene flourish,” says co-founder, Ross Mains-Sheard.
“This initiative will assist our community by leveraging off the skill sets, experience and networks our members bring. Taking the leap of faith into entrepreneurship can be scary, so we are here to make it a little less daunting by sharing the knowledge and experience of others who have gone before.”
Mulholland is a former rock ‘n’ roll-roadie who morphed into an entrepreneur who started South Africa’s biggest presentation firm, Missing Link, and co-founded 21Tanks, the country’s first perspective lab. He lectures at the Graduate School of Business in Cape Town and the Gordon Institute for Business Science (GIBS) in Johannesburg.
